New Zealand native plants play a significant and useful role in our coastal environment. This resource consent planting plan for a home designed by Fearon Hay Architects used a combination of NZ native plants to:

• Merge the site with the surrounding sand dune vegetation.
• Provide privacy and screening from the neighbours.
• Create contrast using different plant textures and colours.
